GameJudgment's Kory Baldwin shares how an unexpected Nintendo 3DS Christmas present showed him the error of his ways. Is the 3DS really a "hardcore" handheld?

I fall almost completely into the hardcore category of gaming. While I do have Angry Birds and other casual titles on my Toshiba Thrive tablet and iPhone 4, I MUCH prefer gaming on HD consoles and my dedicated Gaming PC. In fact, I don’t own a Wii anymore and I haven’t had a Nintendo handheld since the original, dot matrix Gameboy. Well, at least until a few days ago that is.

as long as it offers a lot to hardcore gamers why not.

the delivery system of getting new content is hardcore and that makes the system it self more so.

Wow, how open minded of you. You really want to punch somebody in the face for saying they have Toshiba thrive and recently were wowed by a 3DS?

ur the kind that throws glass bottles at disabled people, right? I mean, clearly you want to punch people in the face for not justifiable reason whatsoever.

pangitkqb basically said what I wanted to say. You want to punch a dude on the face cuz they like the 3DS? Or perhaps you want to punch them for using the term 'hardcore?' The point is, what the hell kind of person want's to punch somebody in the face for having a completely non-violent opinion? Ur a troll.

*facepalm* the stupidity of the two comments above me is astounding.

Personally, it depends on how you view the 3DS. but it can appeal to most gamer types since it has a semi wide aspect of titles that can be played. And I'm pretty sure even more are coming soon
