Everyday Shooter...the name sounds as if it's going be just like an Everyday Shoot-em-up game that you play, however from the images released thus far, it's easy to say that it's not in the slightest going to be like a normal shoot-em up.
Fortunately, the folks at the Playstation Blog have decided to give us details about the backstory of the game...
Found lurking in the depths of the Indie Game Festival George Weising first discovered the game created by Jonathan Mak, however Rusty Buchert (the Sr. Producer for the game) wasn't able to play the game from the get go. However when he finally did, he felt magic, and got a buzz from playing the game. Very quickly was the one-man team at Quesy Games able to get the game up and running on the Playstation 3 - it took him just 3 days and after a few weeks, it was ready for GDC 2007.
As for what made it magical.... well that would be the music, gameplay and visuals which in this day and age are important for pretty much EVERY game on the Next Gen platforms.
You can also see a video of the game in action at the source, or wait till this Thursday to play it yourself on the Playstation Network.
