Blizzard Entertainment takes a look back over a whole decade of StarCraft gaming, starting with the original StarCraft released March 31, 1998.

The highly anticipated sequel to the original title, StarCraft II, is scheduled for a 2008 release for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OSX.

Long live the Zerg!

On March 31, 1998, Blizzard Entertainment released StarCraft, a revolutionary real-time strategy game pitting three powerful and distinctive races against each other in a war-torn galaxy. In StarCraft, the resourceful terrans, mysterious protoss, and relentless zerg find themselves in a confluence of events that has only one possible outcome: an epic war for conquest and survival.

Ten years of time to work on SCII and from what I've seen so far the new one might suck.

I'm just hoping Raynor's ok...poor guy's been doing most of the hard work and he's the one that's been getting screwed by both the Terrans AND the Zergs.
