More in particular, SarcasticGamer has called for a boycott of Battlefield: Bad Company. Of course most gamers online would question whether such a boycott had a chance of going anywhere. However, according to SarcasticGamer's statistics, it very well may be. The boycott is already gaining widespread attention. In spite of the odds, the anti-EA crowd is willing to do anything to somehow hit EA games where it hurts.
What this boycott is about? - EA allegedly making another attempt to swindle the gaming industry by stripping down B:BC and posting them as downloadable content for an additional price. Keep in mind, this is more aimed at the issue with Battlefield: Bad Company and not EA Games as a whole - although many who claim they are joining are choosing to boycott EA Games altogether citing this and the many other business practices EA is notorious for.
About a week and a half ago, we took a stand against Battlefield: Bad Company for selling us an incomplete game. Little did I know that our site would garner such an impressive response across the internets. Over 120,000 people have come to the site to either view our Bad Company Boycott Video, read about the Boycott, or download our Boycott wallpaper and avatar pics.

oh yeah...rate limit...I like the word Broseph
However im going to wait and see before joining the bandwagon of boycotting this game, from what i saw and heard its going to be a great game.
It's not so much the fact that EA wants to ruin Bad Company sales by turning gamers away from the game with having to pay for the additional content for the game. For me, what pisses me off about EA is how they buy out companies just to get the licenses for game series, then forcing the developers to crank out new games for titles at an accelerated rate, both burning the developers out and creating piss-poor sequels compared to the first few.
