Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
14 hours 22 mins ago
GamePro has got their hands on Metal Gear Solid 4 for PS3, and prepared a list of the most awesome things that are to come packed in the box. Some of these aren't that surprising, considering what Kojima has told us about.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is a huge game, but most previews have only scratched the surface. GamePro senior editor Sid Shuman has played the game: here are 25 gameplay features that surprised and delighted him...
MGS4 voices real social concerns:
A socially relevant storyline: Private military companies (or "PMCs") are a key threat in Metal Gear Solid 4 because they've escalated combat into a never-ending war economy. But in a case of truth being stranger than fiction, PMCs are a serious concern in modern-day Iraq. Ever heard of Blackwater? I was pleasantly surprised to see how MGS4 tackles these tough topics in a mature, yet entertaining, manner.

This was a great read. Im personally wanting to try out the FPS so bad as it looks incredible ^-^
Also, it sounds like the FPS mode is just as polished as any dedicated FPS game. That is huge to me. I love MGS and I love FPS. I will definitely have to play this game entirely from the first person perspective at least once.
I'm not a huge MGS fan, but hearing about all the stuff on the list, makes me more interested...
I hope I'll have the money to get this game when it comes out!
But im still going to enjoy it though.
You're crazy if you think it's not going to be the best MGS of all time. I'm guaranteeing you right here right now that it will be the best MGS of all time, and just from the way that it controls.
It'll be like MGS2 all over again, you'll go back to play MGS1 and be like, "holy crap, I need first person aiming." MGS4 is going to make playing MGS1-3 a chore because you're going to wish you had all the new moves and control scheme. Trust me.
That typical CoD4 war-style environment makes for an interesting and detailed environment, allowing gamers to jump into an war situation, but now with familiar characters rather than random soldiers.
