Silviu Stahie, a video and PC games editor has written up a blog on five reasons that if Grand Theft Auto IV gets ported to the PC, it will be better than the console reasons. Two of the reasons are that the controls will be much better and how all the bugs from the console versions will be phases out for the PC release. Go to the source to read the three other reasons.
There is a pandemic going around in the world and its called the GTA IV bug. I don't want to be misunderstood, I really liked this latest title from Rockstar but I feel that all the editors in the world, with very few exceptions, are attending group therapy in a brothel. I also don't want to imply there's a black contract between the publishers and all the major gaming sites (maybe that's a good idea for another time) because the purpose of this article is entirely different.

Also lets look at some interesting point, not everyone has the means to play Big games on the PC. Or has Powerful PC's. Take Crysis for example. The graphics and such was touted to blow people away and be a PC game hit. Instead it turned into a mediocre storyline if that, and the gameplay wasn't great as a whole. Sure the graphics was beautiful but thats it. And lets look the horrendous sales of it.
Modding while it can help the PC, doesn't mean the PS3 can't do it either. If i recall UT3 PS3 version can also mod quite a bit, so that point is really moot.
The controls is subject to an opinion really.
And like Ameer said Bugs can be fixed with patches, since they already have. The game is new on consoles, and R* barely said anything about a release date let alone if they're making it for the PC.
But Ameer has stated that they would be stupid to avoid money made from this.
All in all 1 point has been made and its rather null point if that.
They allowed us to mod or should i say User created content to make our own stuff, this is what im talking about.
