When you hear the name "Grand Theft Auto" you think of shootings, killings and drugs, right? Well not for the boys down at GamesRadar as they try to get as far into the game without committing any crimes. So put down your guns, quit beating up that little old lady and try to be a regular citizen for once.

So to test out exactly how free the experience is, we decided to see how far we could get through the game's story without committing a single illegal act, documenting it every step of the way, (For the purposes of our own sanity, though, we're discounting things like speeding, trespassing, running red lights, public intoxication, reckless driving and accidental damage to property as "crimes." If doing it in front of a cop doesn't get you in trouble, it's not technically illegal.)

Oh yea anyone can do that, but that destroys the whole meaning behind GTA. Without the crime killing and the like the game will be an absolute bore.

What the hell can you do in the game if you don't do that stuff?
    Thats right playing real life.

This is mainly coming out of the fact, that children are influenced by this game. I read about one boy, about 18 or 19, who shot two policemen and stole their car. He also smashed the car window with his elbow. Why? "They did it in GTA."

As I've said before, it is sort of tempting to try and play like a 'legal' person.

You could simply only take a car that is open (well, only way to get a car is to steal it, or have it given to you in missions)....

Drive a 'legal' limit (so only about as fast as the cars around you)....It isn't that hard, since speed and acceleration of your car is proportionate to how hard you press on R2/RT (on 'standard' controls anyhow)...

    Obey signage and traffic lights.

Only fight if someone picks one.

Course, after a while, that would get sucky, but meh, try it, just for kicks. Consider it sort of a mission.

So, does that mean they're not playing the missions that require getting warrens?

Why did i get thumbed down? Don't you know What GTA is all about. Trying to play the good citizen will just make the gameplay boring and take away the natural element of GTA, its fact.

You probably got thumbed down because you don't know the point of this thread: an experiment to see if you can go through the game being a good citizen. That doesn't mean you should; you should try blowing as many things up as possible. But it's just an experiment. It's not like they're trying to re-revolutionize the idea of GTA.
