Last week we told you about XBLM's demo for Soul Calibur IV, and some of you were wondering if the PlayStation Network would be getting the same treatment. Well, Namco Bandai annnounced as of Friday the free playable demo is indeed available for it, just in case you haven't noticed already!

Namco Bandai Games America Inc., announced today that a free playable demo of Soulcalibur IV is now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. Offering a sample of the intense, skeleton-jarring weapon combat, the demo illustrates the franchise's legacy of providing a rich gaming experience as they play Nightmare, Cassandra, Tira or Rock who appear from a roster of more than 30 characters.

A full retail version of Soulcalibur IV is now available and carries a suggested MSRP of $59.99 and a limited Premium Edition with exclusive content is available for $79.99. Soulcalibur IV is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.

Yeah I downloaded it, and wow the controls are odd to get used to. I didn't think it would be that weird. But I was getting familiar with some things. The block feature sucks imo, for at least the demo.

I'm jealous. It's going to be awhile before I can get my PS3 I think. =/

Judging by the article regarding gutting the PS3, I didn't realise you wanted one. Don't take that the wrong way lol, I'm not being sarcastic.

        Hope you get it soon.

Aw. I think some people saw what they wanted in that, to some extent. I clearly stated it's the one I'm after.

          Thanks!
