Motorstorm: Pacific Rift demo is an old build

The Motorstorm Pacific Rift demo was released a few days past to Qore subscribers and a select few others. Just by glancing at Neoseeker forums it can be seen that not all are satisfied by the game. However there is still hope for the final product. As this member of NeoGAF shows the demo is extremely out of date, several months old and likely very different to what the title is like now. The pictures on the left are from a recent build previewed by IGN and the right is the demo build.

    Good news if anything. Though I wont be getting the game myself, I'm glad that another PS3 exclusive is looking to be good.

    As amazing as the difference, why does it look like the it is a different map. Anyways, I knew motorstorm 2 wouldn't suck.

      There was like, next to no vegetation in the Qore build. In the IGN 80% build, all that was added in. So one looked rocky and dusty, while the other one was lush and vibrant.

      Good news, I was a little worried there.

      Personally, looking at the two maps, they seem INCREDIBLY similar to me (minus the extra features) so I think this article has some credibility.

        Well, of course they're similar, they're both of the same racetrack. Just one is dusty and the other is green.

    To be perfectly honest, they both looked a bit suckish to me... Good thing my hopes for this game weren't high to begin with, seeing how terrible the origional was.

      Motorstorm is one of the few racers I like.I'm not much of a racing fan.The only racing games I like are Burnout, Midnight Club and Motortsorm.

        Honestly, I really don't like racers, and I was addicted to MotorStorm for a long time.
