Today, Japan gets a Metal Gear Solid 4 demo. Why? I have no clue. Consider this awesome for the five people who don't own the game, and also for those who enjoy playing demo's in Best Buy/Circuit City/etc.

If you have a PS3 and don't own the game yet, then I don't know what is wrong with you. This game was the system seller. Having a demo come out so far after the game has been released is just about unheard of and really makes me unsure of the strategy being used here.. BUT, at least this means Sony is staying consistent as far as how the whole company seems to be run, which is having no real strategy. ("Lets release a demo for a game everybody has, but stick without having a small patch to put trophies in")

Just about everyone who wanted it will have bought it by now.

I'm one of those 5. Just was never into the series and didn't see a point in buying a game I would be lost playing.

That's really all there needs to be said.

Its a little late, and I hardly see anyone buying MGS4 anymore.

Why not? Believe it or not, there is a good chance people are buying the game as we speak. Or maybe some might be waiting for a price drop or whatever. Besides, MGS4 is not that old anyway. It only came out 5 months ago.

I suppose I can see their reasoning for this. Anyone who was on the fence, or is wondering what the hype was all about, can have a go at playing the game to see what it's all about. It might entice a few more purchases.
