Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement of a demo version of the forthcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum coming to Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PC later this week.

The consumer demo for Batman: Arkham Asylum, published in the United Kingdom by Eidos Interactive, will be available for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Games For Windows LIVE worldwide on August 7th, 2009, it was announced today. The full game will be available at retail stores nationwide in the United Kingdom beginning August 28th.

      From what we've heard/read, the demo is going to cover the EARLY part of the game after Batman takes Joker back to Arkham Asylum. Could be wrong though and maybe it'll be the same demo that have been in stores already.

        Seems that way then, since the Best Buy one is pretty much you in a room. The Joker is pretty much throwing bad guys in with you and you get to brawl with like, 30 dudes.

        Fun, and the fighting is good, I'll probably still download it. If nothing else, so that I may play again in peace.
