Need for Speed: Shift has been getting some good reviews. Its the bump the series needed after some mediocre games. But some people want to try before they by. Now you can when the demo gets released on October 1st. If you don't feel like waiting that long, you can go and download the PC demo that is already out.

Electronic Arts has released a demo of Need for Speed: Shift for the PC. ‘So what?’ you ask, justifiably. Well, the webpage that provides the PC demo download confirms that a PS3 demo will reach the PlayStation Store on October 1st 2009. Yes, we are aware the game is in stores already, but some of us still believe in the ‘try before you buy’ principle!
