For four games, fans of the Ace Attorney series have played the role of an ace defense attorney who takes on seemingly open and shut cases with the odds stacked heavily against them only to slowly unravel the truth and prove the defendant not guilty.

Now it's time for a change of pace and prove the defendant guilty. With the power of logic at your side, you take on the role of Miles Edgeworth, perfect prosecutor (as translated from the original Japanese), and find the true criminal and ensure he's locked away for life. The game won't be coming out until February in the US, but Capcom has released an English version demo hosted by Gamespot where you can play the first part of the first case of the game. Check out the source and warm up your vocal cords, because you're going to need those cords of steel when you yell that famous phrase after finding a contradiction...

I played it a few days ago, but it crashed after I examined something and I haven't been bothered to go back through it. =P

That'll happen from time to time. It crashed on me initially just before the rebuttal in the demo, but when I refreshed it didn't bother me at all.

    Oh. My. God.

I MUST PLAY THIS RIGHT AWAY!

The Ace Attorney series is definitely my favorite series ever to hit the DS.

    Me wants...nao!

Crashing, eh? Guess it's some slight bugs that need working out, no prob, still worth it.

I'd assume it's just bugs in the flash demo, the actual game is already out in Japan, so these things would've been smoothed over already on the DS version.

Anyway, I don't think I'll play the demo. Don't want to spoil the game.

To be fair, the only spoilers in the demo are how to use the Logic system. Everything else is pretty standard from the other Ace Attorney games (cross-examination and examining). There really isn't anything that really spoils the story.
