Crysis Demo Coming September 25 (Along With a Surprise)

You might think the day September 25, 2007 will just be another day if you're not a 360 owner when Halo 3 comes out but PC owners have something to look forward to as well. It was announced that a demo (with a surprise included) will be released on September 25th. The demo will feature the first level "Contact" and be on the look out for the surprise. Maybe a PS3 version? Let the speculation begin!

If you're a PC gamer, chances are September 25, 2007 is meaningless to you. What many are marking down as the day Halo 3 comes out is just another Tuesday. EA, however, decided to change that.

They have just announced that the first Crysis demo will be available on September 25, 2007, giving PC gamers a reason to circle the date. The demo will feature the entire first level "Contact," as well as a "huge surprise from Crytek."

    This is great! I've been waiting for this. I just hope my rather average video card is up to the task. I know the rest of my PC is, but if my video card isn't up to snuff, then my Quad-core and 2GB RAM won't matter.

      Or it could be a PS3 demo also... What a way to shit on Microsoft's little Halo orgy with a PS3 demo of the most anticipated game since Doom lol

    The chances of that happening are between 0 and -1. Just like the BioShock surprise that everyone was hoping for a PS3 surprise...nah, they probably have extra content or some shit people haven't seen yet.

    That wouldn't be a huge surprise everyone is expecting something we haven't seen yet, though the fact that Crytek have been working on a PS3 game for years now, and with this huge surprise coming on the day that PC nuts get to play the game they have longed to play for years now, why not announce a version on the only other logical platform that can handle it.
