Its PS3 exclusivity might be long gone, but that won't affect the demo arrival of Devil May Cry 4, which Capcom has today confirmed for 'early 2008' on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Japanese developer and publisher Capcom has stepped forth today to inform fans that a free playable downloadable game demo will hit the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live in early 2008.

Yearly 2008 is aslo when the game is being released. I have only played DMC3 but this looks good.

DMC1 was the best, the other deteriorated into a "trying to be a rockstar hip guy" piece of crap, which the third reflected. Can't wait for this, looks more serious.

I see why people are thumbs downing you on this. Because the third one was pretty much unanimously loved.

But I do agree with you. It felt like they spent so much time making him into a badass they didn't make anything unique at all. It felt like a choppy ninja gaiden. I beat the first boss stopped and never went back.

I loved every minute of NG though, as well as the first DMC.

I have high hopes for this one...glad to see that I'll get to try before I buy.

DMC3 was kickass and 1 was as well, 2 was a let down so much potential and they blew it.

But finally some good news both will receive a demo, but what about the PC version. Besides shouldn't we get the demo now though i mean the release date of DMC4 was around January i thought.

I've only played DMC3. I didn't like it much but I'm guessing this one will be better.

I've actually gotten tired of DMC. It just became the same thing over and over. 3 definitely stands out from the rest, but everything just feels kind of stagnant. I'm looking forward to God of War III and Ninja Gaiden II much more. Good thing I can play a demo of DMC4. Maybe I'll change my mind.
