Sony Day? LittleBigPlanet Semi!

To help promote the PS3 and PSP within Canada, Playstation.ca has a semi trailer truck full of PS3's and PSP's with the hottest and latest games a few games that may peak your interest. They travel all across Canada and for this stop they were in front of Futureshop at Lansdowne mall in Richmond.

While the truck, branded with LittleBigPlanet all over was here me and kspiess got a chance to check it out. With the entire truck branded with LittleBigPlanet we expected to find the playable demo of LBP but unfortunately we were out of luck as they did not have the game on any of the PS3's. They did however have Haze, GT5 Prologue, Wipeout Pulse, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and a few other PS3 sports titles.

We didn't leave completely disappointed, though. They gave us a couple GT T-Shirts which we'll be giving away to one lucky member next month! (more details to come in the following days).

    They had something like this at Digital Life last year... and then, of course, they go and cancel this years event (ARGH!).

    But regardless- this is most impressive.

    Wonder how many folks managed to get exposed to LBP thanks to the trailer alone? Too bad about the game not actually being there though, but I guess unless you're a beta tester we can't expect to be able to preview the game yet. =\
