"The Xbox Live fall update has been released, and with it, a number of changes including a “fancy” new interface that works with the Kinect, an ESPN hub that enables you to watch live and pre-recorded programming with your friends, and a slew of other features. It’s pretty cool, but after spending a few hours with it, we’ve discovered that there are still some improvements needing to be made. Here now are suggestions for Xbox’s spring update…if we have to wait that long, that is."

Electronic Theatre reports on the confirmation that Endemol's Peter Cowley will speak at this year's Edinburgh Interactive Festival, in addition to the previously announced Peter Moore keynote.
Primetime, the feature MS announced back when talking about NXE, is finally showing signs of debuting. The first Live game show, 1 vs. 100, is currently being Beta tested on Live, but for Canadian Gold members only. There are no prizes being given out for the Beta, but there will be once the game arrives. The grand prize that "the 1" will win if they defeat the Mob is 10,000 MS points.
No word on when the game will officially launch for all of North America and the UK.
