EA's footie sim 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa has scored past Alan Wake to nab the top spot in the UK sales charts for a third consecutive victory.
The much-hyped adventure game debuted in second place, followed by fellow new entry Lost Planet 2. Just Dance was pushed into fourth by the pair, with recent release Skate 3 in fifth.
Lower down, the positions of regulars including Modern Warfare 2 were shaken up, while Final Fantasy XIII made a return to the top ten.

The demo for EA Sports FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa (now that is one long title name) has been released to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network. The game will feature all of the two hundred or so teams that took part in the actual World Cup qualifiers, so players should have plenty of options in so far as team selection goes.
