It's been kind of weird to see a lack of releases on the Wii and DS the last couple of weeks. Really not much there. Of course, it has also been odd to see the number of new releases on the PS3 and 360 during a time of year that typically doesn't get much in the way of games period. Spring is the new Christmas!
SouthPeak Interactive has released new screenshots of 3D Dot Game Heroes depicting the three U.K. prime minister candidates in the blocky world of Dotnia.
With Atlus USA’s upcoming game for the PlayStation 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes, only a few weeks away Atlus has released a new vignette to not only entertain gamers, but to also show off the character creation and the many possibilities the player has when creating their hero.
The character’s design may only be limited by the player's imagination.
3D Dot Game Heroes is visually unique game, and the gameplay also reminiscent of the past. The game pays homage to the classic games (mostly Zelda) while having a 3D 8-Bit graphics style. Atlus has released the first screenshots of the North American version of Silicon Studios' 3D Dot Game Heroes, due to release exclusively on PlayStation 3 this May for $39.99.
While Sony had already revealed that From Software's quirky and awesome-looking new title, 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PlayStation 3, is coming to North America, we did not know the publisher. In an e-mail sent out to the their Faithful mailing list, Atlus USA has announced that they will be publishing From Software's Zelda-alike. The game will hit retail shelves on May 11, 2010, for $39.99 USD.
