New screenshots were released for the Sega-publish and Imageepoch-developed upcoming RPG 7th Dragon for the Nintendo DS, this time showing off another one of the game's character classes, the Princess.

The Princess job class can hold her own in battle, jumping into the fray armed with a whip, which is capable of inflicting multiple hits. Along with the whip, the Princess's skillset contains the use of songs, which are used for support. They can heal allies or cure status effects.

The debut trailer has been released for Sega's upcoming RPG, 7th Dragon for the Nintendo DS. This game is being published by imageepoch, and is presumably the developer's Project DF. Taking the reins and directing is former Trauma Center and Etrian Odyssey director Kazuya Niinou, while Rieko Kodama (Skies of Arcadia) acts as producer. The music will be scored by the famed Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage).

7th Dragon is expected to release in Japan in the Spring of 2009.

After being already leaked by Sega last week, it is now formally announced in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu that Sega will be published 7th Dragon, a RPG for the Nintendo DS. The game is being directed by former Etrian Odyssey director Kazuya Niinou.

The other day, a teaser site opened on Sega's domain, teasing a new RPG for an unannounced platform, but featuring the star power of Kazuya Niinou, Reiko Kodama, and Yuzo Koshiro on the game's development staff.

Today, looking at Sega's Tokyo Game Show 2008 site, a picture was uncovered of the mysterious new game, an accidental reveal, if you will. The game looks to be titled 7th Dragon, and will apparently be for the Nintendo DS.
