""Blending genres, Deus Ex was a mesmerizing title that delivered so many innovations that the rest of the industry took almost the entire decade playing catch up.
Calling attention to the choices that the players make, Deus Ex was much more than a game – it was about providing a world of possibilities. With many possible solutions presented to the player, Deus Ex had enough replay value to supply several titles. The level of freedom compelled players to return for multiple playthroughs.""
Gamasutra has gotten their hands on some pretty juicy information about Deus Ex Co-creator Warren Spector: Apparently, from the recent concept art and information they have viewed, there is a strong rumor going around that he is working on a Micky Mouse game.
There is tons of evidence to back this up, so it's probably only a matter of time before this becomes official.
GiantRealm has done up a cool article which recommends six classic PC titles that you can run on any PC these days. A note about one of the listed titles, Deus Ex: soon it'll be a great time to get into it (whether you're a DE virgin or not) with the HDTP overhaul it's getting.
The article comes complete with some great footage too. For example...
Yes, we're big Fallout whores here at GameGrep/Neoseeker.

"In the world of Gaming, 2000 was actually a pretty kick ass year. We were all able to get our hands on the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo sold its 100,000,000th Game Boy system.
Looking Glass Studios (System Shock 2, Thief series) went out of business. Bungie was bought by Microsoft (to the eternal embarrassment of Apple's Steve Jobs, to be sure), and Red Storm Entertainment became the new property of Ubisoft. Volition, the development house behind FreeSpace 2 and Summoner (and later Saint's..."

Deus Ex means god made machine and so far the series has lived up to it's ambitious name for the most part but can it do it a third time? Well take a look for yourself at the trailer (linked in the article) as well as screenshots and a analysis. Apart from that and info on the team developing it it's slim pickings though. So don't expect it until 2009. No info on what platforms its coming too either
Eidos have announced the development of the third iteration of it's seminal Deus Ex series. The series is noted for it's successful incorporation of role-playing, adventure and FPS elements into the one game. Deus Ex, and it's sequel Invisible War have sold well on a variety of platforms, and given Deus Ex's reputation, Eidos looks sure to continue that trend.
This week. we covered a gamut of topics. We first talked a bit about our Wii Giveaway. Then we got into the banhammer that was dropped on Halo 3 Epsilon players and the 24 hour ban dropped on Call of Duty 4 beta fans. We talked about the free games that just came out from Ubisoft and EA, which we hope is a trend in the right direction for older games. We also hit on the Bioshock multiplayer issue and digital distribution being the savior of PC Gaming.
Singleplayer is awesome, sure multiplayer can be good but its that story driven action packed campaign that we hunger for. Here is a list of the top 10 FPS singleplayer games. While all these titles are available for PC many of them are or will be on consoles. System Shock 2, Doom and Deus Ex all make a appearance but which one will be top dog?
The list is as follows (in reverse order, even though the numbers are incremental):
- F.E.A.R
- Call of Duty 2
- System Shock 2
- Aliens vs Predator 2
- Far Cry
- Ca...
