"Formed in 2009, En Masse is comprised of talented veterans whose collective portfolio reflects the most recognised and celebrated IPs from leading companies including Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft Corp., Electronic Arts Inc., ArenaNet and NCsoft. The first official En Masse title scheduled for release in North America and Europe will be the highly anticipated MMORPG PC title, TERA."

Blizzard today announced that their popular match-making service, Battle.net, will be receiving a major face lift sometime in the future, likely corresponding with the Starcraft II release.

"Dragon Age: Origins is the biggest singleplayer role-playing game release of the season. It's also the only big-budget singleplayer RPG coming out this season. The RPG is one of the oldest genres in gaming, but big releases are becoming rarer each year.

We examine the state of the big-budget single-player RPG with a group of RPG developers. Each comes from a different facet of the market. Is it dying? Are the tastes of RPG gamers changing? What role do MMOs, consoles, and handhelds play? I..."

With today's gamer requiring a fast paced, highly action oriented, and not all that thought provoking game - it is no wonder we have seen the decline of traditional point and click RPGs like most of us grew up with back in the day. I enjoyed spending literally days of my life playing these games, maxing out stats, collecting every secret - no matter how pointless, and growing pale in my basement with my only source of light being the television and and power button for weeks on end.

Nine days ago, I posted an article telling you about a mysterious counter on diablo3.com which launched numerous rumours... well 9 days have passed, and it's finally the 1st of May.... what was the counter for? It was for the change from diablo3.com to diablofans.com. But why was it (rightly) stated that people would talk about this... the reason being that the original site has been sold to none otherthan Blizzard. Could this mean that Diablo 3 is coming soon? Chances are yes.

A counter on Diablo3.com launched numerous rumours and theories as to what it was counting down to. With so much speculation going on, Staff at Diablo3 decided to clear things out with regards to what the counter is NOT pointing too... However considering how they initially put the counter saying "half the internet is going to link to us" I don't see why they'd tell us that it's nothing to do with Diablo 3... unless it's something quite big nonetheless.

...But what can this counter actuall...

Mythos is going to be a mostly free MMORPG (there will be some opt-in payment schemes) for the PC. Why should you care? One, it's supposed to not be repetitous, a problem that plagues many of these kinds of games. Two, it exceeds Diablo's "Hardcore" mode, offering three, one of which will see your character actually die if you lose all HP, never to return to the game. Also, it looks pretty good.

Now I loved the Diablo series as much as the next person, but this could be horrible like other movies based off of games, such as Dead or Alive (which bombed at the box office this weekend), and Mortal Kombat. If it's in CGI, though, that could come out well.

Anyways, after many rumours were circliing with a Diablo movie coming, it's been confirmed and is under development...most likely will release in 2008.

"The announcement of the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals 2007 held in South Korea, and its one-week splash page teaser got many Diablo fans hyped up. When Starcraft 2 was announced, Diablo fans’ hopes went down the drain. I have seen reactions at different Diablo forums, including the official forums, where fans have lost all hope for Diablo III.

I would say to those fans, it is not over until the fat lady sings. Diablo is coming … there is no doubt of that. The signs of its coming is al..."
