Although this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo had a lot of big announcements, some of the more popular games and hardware was completely missing from the convention. Here is a list of the top 10 biggest no-shows at E3 2010.

Nintendo is known for some of the best video game franchises in the history of the industry. This past decade saw the debut of many great new franchises from them.

Nearly a year ago, Shigeru Miyamoto said that Nintendo were making a new Pikmin game, not just the New Play Control! Versions. When asked why Pikmin 3 was not announced at E3 2009, Shigeru replied that Pikmin 3 is going to take some time to make and be announced due to the lack of team members creating it. Pikmin 3 may not be announced until E3 2010 or even E3 2011.

"With the recent release of the New Play Control! Pikmin game, I figured this was a good time to write about it. I adore the Pikmin series, it’s a brilliant real time strategy game on a micro scale. Since we got official confirmation of a Pikmin 3 last year, we’ll hopefully see it land Christmas or next spring. What do I want in it? Well…"

The Pikmin Wiimake is a highly anticipated remake game of the rather popular Pikmin series. Your character has crash landed on a planet and you need to make repairs. This will be performed through cooperation with Pikmin.

During the Nintendo's Developer Roundtable, GAFfer and video game journalist Chris Remo asked Shigeru Miyamoto and Katsuya Eguchi about core gamers and whether a Pikmin game was in development.
