As of today, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob have four new brothers. Or four new pets, depending on how you look at it. Nickelodeon has acquired the global rights for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for $60 million. Considered one of the most successful franchises in the past 25 years, the Turtles have had a successful run in cartoons, movies, toy lines, and of course video games.
This topic has been heard plenty of times, which are better achievements or trophies. One can question its launch with the console vs maybe a tack on feature. The real question is who values them more for their respective console? The staff at LVLONE discusses the different features each console presents.
Since the original announcement, and then of course the footage shown of the game, I have been pretty interested in the Turtles in Time remake coming to XBLA/PSN. Now I am amused by the announcement that the game will be coming July 22nd... but only for XBLA. The PSN version will be coming "later in the year"
In the Turtles' Party Van at last week's Galabunga event in New York City, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was apparently unveiled. That game? A remake of the arcade beat-em-up classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. The game sent our iconic turtles through various time warps in an attempt to stop Shredder after he wrecks havoc on the Big Apple.
Currently, it's headed only for the Xbox Live Arcade, but apparently they're also working on bringing it to WiiWare. No...
