"It’s been a busy year for NCsoft. The Korean purveyor of MMOs has and will continue to see major updates to two of their biggest games in the Western market: Aion and City of Heroes. The company was more than excited to show off the new features each game has brought to 2011. Curious? Cautious but ready to go back to a superhero oldie? Prepared to find out if this pretty fantasy game where everyone has wings has remained aloft? Check out our impressions."
Gaming is becoming more immersive by the minute it seems, and with the way it's upwardly trending, one can only imagine how much more interactive and customizable gaming will become to cater to everyone's needs individually. While this is a great thing in many ways, it's become evident that the expectation for gameplay and character interaction has risen dramatically in games that offer little to no customization in the first place.
"Aion's upcoming huge content update is version 2.0. It's also known by the fancier name of Assault on Balaurea. The update is going to increase the level cap to 55, add new zones, add new instances, new functional pets, and much more."
"Aion has posted a new preview video for the upcoming "Assault on Balaurea."

"Recently, version 2.0 hit the Korean test servers for Aion. Those patch notes have now been initially translated and drafted for North American players, revealing a massive content update including many new areas for Daevas to explore."
"On April 29th, two public test servers will open their doors for Aion. A PTS for North America and a PTS will for Europe will be available for the purpose of testing upcoming patches."
"Formed in 2009, En Masse is comprised of talented veterans whose collective portfolio reflects the most recognised and celebrated IPs from leading companies including Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft Corp., Electronic Arts Inc., ArenaNet and NCsoft. The first official En Masse title scheduled for release in North America and Europe will be the highly anticipated MMORPG PC title, TERA."
"There were tons of MMORPG, MMOTPS, MMOFPS, and MMORTS games released and announced throughout 2009. However, only a handful really broke through the trend of the standard-fare gameplay models and managed to incorporate whole new ways to play and interact with others that hasn't already been done to death. With that said, here is a list of the top five most original MMOs released in 2009."

"Just when you think the world doesn’t have enough MMORPGs along comes yet another to toss its glove down in a challenge to reigning champion WoW. So what makes NcSoft’s Aion stand out from the rest of the pretenders? You can fly—and that’s about it.
The market has become completely saturated with MMORPGs that are trying to break the stranglehold WoW has on people’s time, minds, and money but none of them really ever stood a chance. Will Aion? Maybe but I doubt it."
"The Aion "Head Start" began at noon PST on Sunday, and so far it's looking a bit shaky. Forum posts around the Aion block are mixed, with some feeling that the launch has gone smoothly, while others complain about long waits in the queue to log in and disconnects.
At Aion Tower they run down the events of launch day. It didn't take long before NCsoft realized they had to increase the queue, and begin looking into a more permanent solution. Within three hours of launch at least a couple of..."
