Alpha Protocol is a unique concept that combines stealth, action, RPG-elements, and a complex plot. In some ways its similar to Deus Ex. Although this game has a few flaws, most places have it for less then $15 and at that price its well worth the time invested. Too bad gamers won't ever see a sequel. Are there any other games that could be considered espionage RPGs?

Publisher Sega reveals the sales results for two of their high-profile recent releases, Alpha Protocol and Iron Man 2, in their latest quarterly fiscal report.
"There isn't a great number of deals this week but there are some smoking hot deals available for NCAA Football 11 and Dragon Quest IX. K-Mart in particular has some great deals on the two new releases and a deep deep discount on Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, Alan Wake, and Singularity. Target is also offering a great discount on other EA games with the NCAA Football 11 and Toys R Us is offering gift cards with Dragon Quest IX and the DSi XL."

In preparation for the upcoming launch of Alpha Protocol next week, SEGA has unveiled two more trailers including a music video to hammer home the game's notion of "choice" being your weapon. The trailers showcase the different style of gameplay you can create based on the numerous classes and jobs you character takes on.
Xbox 360 gamers are already enjoying 2010 so far with many great exclusive and multiplatform titles. The summer releases for the system also look very promising.

Obsidian and SEGA's anticipated RPG "Alpha Protocol" has gone gold according to the publisher. The title is currently on it's way to manufacturing for release on May 28th and June 1st, in Europe and North America respectively.

Less-than-shocking news about a possible delay for Alpha Protocol, the espionage RPG by Obsidian. The article suggests that the game could be slipping back into a summer release, according to some hints from Gamestop.
In a press release today, Sega has announced its lineup for the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. 10 new Screenshots have been released for Sega's latest RPG game - Alpha Protocol. Showing the stunning graphics of the game, the screenshots are certainly worth a look. You can find five screenshots attached below, and the other five at the source.
Though the images probably wont look like it, but you'll be surprised to learn that the images below are from an Action-RPG. In development by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Sega, Alpha Protocol is currently being developed for the PS3, XBOX360 and PC. Obsidian has history developing some very good RPGs. Their latest is Alpha Protocol, an "espionage" RPG. There is very little known about the title at this time, but Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart commented, Alpha Protocol blends Obsidians knack for intricate stories, engrossing characters, and significant character advancement with fast-paced modern combat..." And if Feargus likes it, that is good enough for me!
