Alpha Protocol is a unique concept that combines stealth, action, RPG-elements, and a complex plot. In some ways its similar to Deus Ex. Although this game has a few flaws, most places have it for less then $15 and at that price its well worth the time invested. Too bad gamers won't ever see a sequel. Are there any other games that could be considered espionage RPGs?
"From a very young age, I always wanted to be a spy. I can’t think why. Girls are icky when you’re young, so it can’t have been the mountains of pussy spies have to work through in between assignments. But the allure of the espionage lifestyle is one I’ve always enjoyed and, when Obsidian released Alpha Protocol last year I got excited that someone was finally making a game for all the wannabe James Bonds out there (and I got even more excited when it came up on Steam for £5 over Christmas)."

Target is also offering a great discount on other EA games with the NCAA Football 11 and Toys R Us is offering gift cards with Dragon Quest IX and the DSi XL."

"I was going in totally blind, having no idea what to expect from a game created by developer Obsidian Entertainment. Most titles developed by the studio have been good, but each has come short in being an outstanding title. Alpha Protocol unfortunately falls into this bracket. While having some great merits within, it struggles to be a standout title. You follow Micheal Thorton, a new member of the nonexistent branch of the government known as Alpha Protocol. Micheal is thrust into the world ..."
"Summer is here at least in theory, since practically the weather is still awful, which means that we’ll have to spend more time inside, playing computer games. And if you’re starting to get bored with the games you’re playing already, you should not worry – there are a bunch of hot new titles being released in June 2010 for the PC and you’ll certainly have reasons to go on a spending spree!"
"Kicking off a brand new feature here at PlanetXbox360.com we are listing the top 5 Xbox 360 releases for each month of the year, starting with June of 2010. The list will be in the order from 1-5 that our top editors would recommend them, if for example you only have the fund to purchase one game this month our advice would be to pick up whichever is in the number one spot, then going backwards to number five if the extra cash is available to purchase more than one Xbox 360 release each month..."
"If Obsidian Entertainment truly was attempting to create a spoof, then they should have taken the ball and ran with it. With unexplainable duffel bags of money and dossier information lying about levels, Alpha Protocol could have been a hilarious title to enjoy from beginning till end. The list of technical issues plagued the title right from the on-start and continued until the ugly ending. Whether it was one enemy mysteriously multiplying into three enemies before my eyes (maybe he was Marv..."

"During missions, gameplay is handled in an over-the-shoulder, third-person perspective that you have definitely seen in other games. Gunplay is handled well, but the skill-based system means that even if you are a good shot in terms of actual mouse-usage, which I am, you may not hit what your reticule is on. I wish they would have gone a little more Mass Effect 2 on this end than Mass Effect. However, if an Alpha Protocol 2 is made, maybe they will. You have access to various weapon types, fr..."

"The Sega producer described them to me as interrogations that could last 10-15 minutes, full of choices not just about what to say but whether to, perhaps, hit the person being interrogated with a bottle. In the interrogation described, violence squeezes accurate information out, but causes the player's victim to alert his friends and make a subsequent mission harder. Being smoother with the same guy will allow the player to make a pay-off and face lesser opposition later.
But what about t..."

And if Feargus likes it, that is good enough for me!
