Gamesta.com reports German developer Spellbound Entertainment AG has filed for insolvency. The company responsible for ArcaniA and Giana sisters DS has been unable to pay its debts and is now facing closure if it can't restructure.
NoobFeed.com takes a look at the ongoing financial issues that hit JoWood Entertainment. As a result, the Gothic 4: Arcania add-on has been postponed indefinitely. But also Hudson games have been marked uncertain. Luckily, JoWood still has some good news for Gothic fans.
JoWooD and Spellbound have launched a website for the upcoming RPG Arcania: A Lost Tale. On the site there is information about gamplay, background story, various media, and something called Gothic Chronicles.
Worth a look for folks looking for new titles, especially as this one has been met with very little mainstream fanfare! Some amazing looking landscapes in this game.
