"Battle of Forlì is the first of two DLC extensions planned for Assassin's Creed II. It comprises the first of the two "corrupted memories" of the Animus (DNA sequence 12), and sees Niccolò Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza fighting alongside Ezio to protect a piece of Eden from the Orsi brothers and the Templars. Battle of Forlì contains six new missions, in which Ezio will use Da Vinci’s flying machine once again. As the title suggests, this first DLC package takes place in the region of Forlì."

A new trailer has been released for Assassin's Creed 2 showcasing some of the platforming and combat moves you can perform in the game. The trailer itself is set to an awesome techno song that works quite well. No new story elements on the game are given in the trailer as it's strictly a trailer showcasing how awesome looking the game is.

The first of 6 developer diaries for Assassin's Creed II have been released. And in each one we get to see some more footage of Assassin's Creed II. In the first dairy, the Dev's talk about the main character, Ezio. About his history and his motives to become an assassin.

It may only be a small step up from the teaser trailers, but 11 seconds of a target render trailer for Assassin's Creed 2 has come online via Youtube. It doesn't show much else besides the protagonist climbing up and then leaping down from a rooftop, but hopefully more will be revealed at E3.
"With easily five months remaining until release, raising awareness is clearly one of Ubisoft’s top priorities. Although strikingly similar to a video already released for the Hardcore Gamer audience, this new trailer will become part of a new advertising campaign throughout May aimed at a more general audience, and so has reportedly received tweaks for less discerning audience."
