Last month I'd written something here about an MMORPG set underwater called Atlantica Online (see related articles below), wherein was promised a beta for the month of July. Well July is here, and so is the beta! Well, just about. You can download the game client now through the source, and the beta will begin July 18.

NDOORS designed Atlantica’s combat, mercenary and city/country management systems to set it apart from the rest of the MMO market.

The turn-based combat system offers players the chance to strategically plan every move of the nine characters in their group. Players can form teams of three to bring 27 controllable characters into combat.
