The recent release of the Alien Vs. Predator demo has had gamer's talking about a number of things. There was a bug with the matchmaking systems on both the PC and PS3 versions, but the bug free (at least, no matchmaking bug) Xbox 360 version has recently passed an impressive 14,000 downloads.
Last week's Alien vs Predator demo was one of the most-talked about subjects. However, although the Xbox 360 version had no issues, PS3 and PC owners were out of luck with numerous matchmaking connecting issues. Even worse, it looks like the PS3 issues could be "ongoing."

Game Informer have taken the time to play the new Aliens vs Predator game, and apparently they aren't too happy with it. Awarding it an abysmal 5.75/10. See the scan (right) for the review.
The Aliens and PRedator skins for Multiplayer have been leaked, ranging from Grid(AvP the movie), to the exclusive preorder Alien Head Predator.
The site is in german, but the text basically describes each skin. The marine skins have not been shown as of yet.
Two highly anticipated titles from Sega will now require Steamworks for authentication. This includes both the retail and online copies. Sega Nerds highlights the upsides and downsides of this authentication process.
Steam has recently released their top 10 sellers for the week of January 17-23rd, and surprisingly the top sellers are actually Pre-Orders. With Mass Effect 2 being released on the 26th of January and being called by Time.com as "the Avatar of video games — except it's better written", it could hardly be surprising.

SEGA's Aliens vs. Predator will arrive on UK shores on the PS3, XBOX 360 and PC formats next February, according to MCV.
Three editions will be available on the 19th. As well as the Standard edition, there's the Survivor edition and the Hunter edition, which comes with various goodies, including a Facehugger (and fortunately not a real one).
