Unlike its predecessor, Batman Forever on the SNES was a poor movie cash-in that featured boring beat 'em up gameplay, average graphics, and a ridiculous soundtrack. It doesn't hold up well now, and it didn't back when it launched for the SNES. Gamers who want a retro Batman experience are better off playing Batman Returns.
