DICE has not forgotten about Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This wednesday, the PC version of the game will receive a patch that will focus on fixing many stability and performance issues.
Battlefield 3 nearly a month away and to celebrate, EA is holding a promotion on their Origin Store. Make sure to check out some of the titles and add-ons that are on sale.

Amazon.com has revealed that Electronic Arts’ Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be joining the Greatest Hits lineup on the Playstation 3 and Platinum Hits lineup on the Xbox 360.

In honor of the 4th of July EA is running a sale on some of their iOS and PC download games. There are over 50 iOS games on sale. Most of the iOS games are $0.99 and this includes titles like Dead Space and NBA Jam. For the PC download sale such titles as Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 are on sale
The nominations for the 7th British Academy Video Games Awards have been unveiled.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Call of Duty: Black Ops are each up for seven awards including Artistic Achievement, Technical Innovation and Multiplayer, while other big games of 2010 like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead: Redemption also appear. Last year, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves won both the most nominations and the most awards.

Today GameFly announced their annual end of the year sale would be held between December 22nd and January 3rd. Look for many blockbuster titles of 2009 and 2010 at "blowout" prices with free shipping to boot.

Early gameplay reports from Raptr suggest that that Medal of Honor may have misfired in its initial week. Game-time with EA's newest FPS hasn't affected gameplay time with other popular first-person shooters.
Anyone with a car and passengers has had that conversation where the back seat (or front passenger seat) driver insists you pull over and ask someone for directions. It always happens.
Well apparently video games, namely shooters, improve decion making and ultimately make you a better driver who is less likely to get lost with that irritating cargo.

EA's Battlefield Blog today announced Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show. This is great news as this expansion will inroduce Vietname era weapons and maps.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition has gone live for pre-order on steam. Limited Edition comes with 6 unlocks: Improved Vehicle Armor, Supreme Vehicle Firepower, Vehicle Motion Sensor, Tracer Dart Pistol, M1A1 Sub-machine Gun, and M1911 Pistol. Plus access to the PC Beta on January 28th.

Walmart.com significantly expanded the list of soon-to-be-released games that are eligible for the free $10 gift cards with purchase. Modern Warfare 2 has held the crown in the FPS genre for some time now, but competition is always around the corner. Now we have a real battle and it comes from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and according to both trailers it seems that Modern Warfare 2 has met it's match.
"EA hasn't yet made any announcements about the multiplayer side of the game. The only thing we know for certain is that 40 people will be able to duke it out on to servers when the sequel hits rather than Bad Company's previous player cap of 24. New game modes and plenty of maps a shoo-in however, that's what sequels are made for after all."
