With Radd Spencer and his bionic mustache hitting the scene once again in Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Capcom wanted to make sure everything down to the 8-bit tunes got an complete overhaul. So Capcom asked its fans to remix the “Papagayan Anthem” and make it into something a little more modern. The grand prize was having your winning composition featured in the final version forever.
"Last time I collected NeoGAF’s great MS Paint renditions of video games, it was for a years worth. Someone decided to start the thread early, which is fine with me as a lot of great work from Junior Members of the board are now able to participate, along with some classic pieces from older members. Below are just my favorite picks, enjoy guessing which games they are from, and make sure to check the original thread which is still active on NeoGAF."

"Following on from the successful promotion on the PlayStation Store, Capcom has confirmed that Xbox 360 owners can, for a limited period starting today, can purchase the digital download title - Bionic Commando Rearmed – for just 400 Microsoft Points from XboxLIVE! Arcade."
Wow, Xbox Live Arcade is on fire this week. First these eight XBLA games that are only $2.96 on Amazon, and now a more current title being offered right from the Live Marketplace, Bionic Commando Rearmed. At $10 this game was really for the "hardcore" into the series, but now at $5, I am considering biting myself.
"Capcom Europe have just announced that to celebrate the release of Bionic Commando on May 22nd, the digital download title - Bionic Commando Rearmed – is now available for a limited period from the European PlayStation Store for only £3.99/€4.99."
""Are we done doing HD Remixes? No we're not done. But the next ones that we do will be even better, based on what we learned."
When asked if Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was a game that didn't need the HD Remix treatment, Svensson replied: "I won't say it doesn't need it. Marvel would be great to do. There's obviously a fan base for it. It's probably our most requested title. Unfortunately, I wish I had news to share on that front but I don't.""
Yahtzee goes in depth about the nostalga of retro-gaming and how it is affecting and influencing the current gaming economy. Tackling Castle Crashers, Bionic Commando and more in traditional Yahtzee fashion.
The official Bionic Commando IGN Blog has been updated with tons of information. So far, the rankings for Bionic Commando Rearmed have turned out pretty good. The PC version has a 91%, the PS3 is in second with a 88.1%, and the 360 is last with 86.2%. It's the highest Capcom has ever scored on a digital game.

In order to tame the gamers who are going to buy Bionic Commando Rearmed on the PC for $5, Capcom has confirmed that free downloable content will be released to the PC, while PS3 and 360 users will have pay for it.
Here is a part of a statment that Ben Judd, the producer of Bionic Commando Rearmed, had on the matter: I can say this: for the PC version we are planning on uploading some additional PC-only challenge rooms via a free patch so you will get more bang for your buck."
"At its core, Bionic Commando Rearmed is the same game from two decades ago. You play as Nathan "Radd" Spencer, a sort of super-soldier equipped with a bionic arm. His job is to save Super Joe and stop what is essentially the resurrection of Hitler (with name changed to protect the innocent, apparently). It's that bionic arm that makes our pal Radd stand out from other side-scrolling heroes.
The arm is a fully functional tool. With it you can attach to most surfaces and swing. The mechanics..."
"Famitsu have reported that Bionic Commando Rearmed, a game which was expected to drop on 360, PS3, and PC very soon has been hit with a delay. This is the second delay for the game, with the first announced back in May. The reason for that delay was due to development not [being] schedule correctly."
"John Diamonon, an associate product manager at Capcom, has said that the firm looks to eBay in order to find out what old games people would like to see on today's formats.
"Sometimes we see games on eBay, and that's how you see what games people are willing to spend $80 on," Diamonon told MTV.
"To choose titles to revive, we see if we can give old franchises the modern touch, and we evaluate the fanbase and see if there's a market for it."
Diamonon was quick to add that this wasn't ..."

Judd talked the possibility of PlayStation Home integration. Right now it's still up in the air, but he says we won't get a definite answer until Sony gives the go signal. He does say that once they do, they'll be able to integrate something similar to Xbox 360 achievements:

"PSU: How would you best describe Bionic Commando Rearmed?
Ben Judd: Without sounding too over-confident, I would say its the perfect mix between celebrating the original game and its fantastic 2D swing mechanic and updating the game so that it is user-friendly by todays standards and full of enough new content to please old fans and new. Then again, I could say one of the best experiences you will find on XBLA, PSN, and PC and make a long story, short."
Capcom has been granted free reign as far as download sizes go for their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade titles, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Bionic Commando Rearmed. The decision was made after it became apparent that both games would require textures to be downscaled in order to meet file size requirements, placing the Xbox 360 versions at risk of being a lesser quality than their respective PlayStation 3 and PC counterparts.
The 150 megabyte file size limit, likely introduced du...
