As we continue on towards the holiday season, I'm inclined to believe that this notable games list will continue to grow into gigantic proportions.
Joystiq has Call of Duty 4 as the highlight, but honestly, you can't pin the total spotlight this week on a single game. Besides, one of the greatest games ever came out for the Virtual Console.

We have 31 screenshots for you, 15 on the PS3, and 16 on the XBOX360. The screens really do show that KOEI have been working hard on the game, and with it being on the Japanese PSN, you can even play it yourself.

A Bladestorm demo has finally hit the Japanese Playstation Network Store, and is available for download now. Releasing on 30th August in Japan, the game puts gamers in the role of a rogue commander and gives them direct control of mercenary units in fierce clashes with English and French forces.
