We've been seeing the symptoms for a while and now it's finally happened. Midway's actually filed for bankruptcy as they have about $150 million in debt. According to Matt Booty, Midway CEO, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy will protect them long enough for them to find other alternatives to get their act straight again. To be honest, I'm not really happy about this, not that I bought many of their games but...damn...there goes Mortal Kombat.
Breaking bones, pumping steroids, throwing your helmet, mooning the crowds and celebrating by throwing parties. This just happens to be the Blitz way and thank god for it. The game fellows the story of a hot shot rookie as you basically make your way up the ladder. Throughout your campaign, there are a series of movies updates to the plot, but there isnt much detail to them. But, somehow this game finds away of being somewhat compelling and gives you some interesting cut sences.
What happens when almost everyone stops playing a game on Xbox Live? Do the real fans keeping playing? Do the noobs wander on? Well, you're about find out. OXM took a handful of older games from the Xbox 360 and tried to find some people to play with online.
One of the games was Smackdown vs. Raw, which saw 14 players in 30 minutes, not bad for an old game. OXM did meet a new-comer to the game called "THEBOSS6976".
