Hudson revealed a new game for the Nintendo Wii yesterday titled Bomberman Blast. The game will support the usage of Miis, online multiplayer up to eight players, and a variety of arenas.
Unfortunately, neither a price or release date was set for the game. "The Bomberman franchise is one of Hudson Entertainment's most popular," said Sabine Duvall, who is the Vice President of product development.
From the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, Konami has announced that they will be handle publishing duties for the Hudson's newly announced Bomberman 2 (tentative title) for the DS. Bomberman sports a new futuristic look, but still aims to have that classic gameplay. The title will feature a mission-based structure to its story mode. Sony has recently added some new selections of games which are available for the Japanese. The games that have been added are Bomberman, Dig-a-Dig Pukka, Wizard's Harmony 2, and Lord Monarch: The Chronicle of New Gaia. The PS3 version of Bomberman will have a four player multiplayer mode, but the handheld version of the game will only have a single-player mode. Bomberman and Dig-a-Dig Pukka also support the DualShock 3 controller.
