Nintendo has launched a site called I Play for Me, seemingly intended to promote the idea of girls as gamers, bringing onboard actresses and musicians like Carrie Underwood, America Ferrera (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, CSI) and Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings, Stealing Beauty). I particularly enjoy how non-fake the commercials are, which is rare to see, especially under such circumstances.

A couple weeks ago there was a leak about a new color for the DS Lite. It's a crimson-onyx Lite that is bundled with Brain Age 2. Here's another piece of good news: It's being released on August 21st in Canada AND the United States (originally only thought to be released in Canada). For only $149.99, you can buy the newest Lite and the newest Brain Game with a carrying case.

A week or two ago, an image surfaced on the Internet of a new DS Lite model that Nintendo were planning to launch alongside Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day in North America. No pricing or release details were announced at the time, but it has now been confirmed that the bundle will hit shelves on August 21 for $149.99 USD.
