According to Kotaku, publisher Activision Blizzard is expected to announce that it will bringing the Modern Warfare series to the Wii tomorrow, with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on November 10th.
Now, read that last sentence carefully, folks.
Although only a rumor that will probably get confirmed tomorrow, Activision will be releasing a two-year-old port on the Wii day and date with the game's sequel.

"That’s right. According to The Hollwood Reporter, it seems that Activision have set up deals for “Call of Duty: The Movie”, the movie for the very popular video game.
“[The Call of Duty movie is] being talked about for the big screen,” said one person with knowledge of the deal.
However, in an interview prior to Thursday’s quarterly earnings conference call, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick wouldn’t comment on the status of Call of Duty becoming a film."
"A new set of maps for Call of Duty: World at War (due in June) wasn’t the only major piece of news floating around recently pertaining to Activision’s famed FPS series. Rumor has it that Treyarch’s next contribution to the series may center on Vietnam, based on Activision’s supposed efforts in obtaining rights for Vietnam War-era music."
