Gamestop has a decent deal sale right now 30% off used ps3/360 shooters. Games on sale include Halo Reach, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Homefront, Gears of War 1 and 2, Killzone 2, Socom 4, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 and plenty of other great games. Best of all most of these games are between $3-$20.

Now some of the largest retailer are removing these games from there store shelf's due to a large backlash.

Online retailer Amazon has discounted Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 to under $15 each.
Publisher Activision today announced that the numerous downloadable map packs from the Call of Duty franchise have combined to sell over 20 million units.

Yup folks, Treyarch's next installment to their Call Of Duty stockpile is fixed for release this November much like Modern Warfare 2 did last year. Call Of Duty: Black Ops has yet to have been seen, so nothing is actually confirmed as of yet but speculation links it to the Vietnam conflicts.

Activision has confirmed that there will be a new Call of Duty game coming out before the end of this year in their latest quarterly financial briefing.

The third map pack is due for release next week, bringing the excitement of another Zombie map. Here is a glimpse of it in action.
The list of achievements has been announced today along with it comes further insight into what the third pack will look like. With the storyline developing and the new features becoming more and more advanced with each pack, the third installment to the Zombies mini-game is a much awaited DLC.

Today Activision announced they would continue to support World at War with a new map pack that will contain 4 maps and 10 new achievements and trophies and be released in Auguest.

Call of Duty: World at War came out last fall for the PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile phones. In just a little over six months, the latest game in the popular Call of Duty series has sold more than 11 million copies.
Call of Duty: World at War's Map Pack 2 hits the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network today. The package includes three new normal multiplayer maps and one additional map for the co-op/zombie mode.
The second map pack for Call of Duty: World at War will be releasing in the coming June, and should be a treat for fans and veterans of the series. Call of Duty: World at War may not have got everything right, but the Nazi Zombie survival mode was definitely one of the stand out features liked almost universally by gamers everywhere. And thanks to the community manager of Treyarch we now know some juicy DLC will be coming soon, with more undead action promised.

Australia gets to see its software sales for 16th of November! What topped the all consoles category? Surprisingly it's the game that's had a lot of criticism, Wii Music! Call of Duty: World at War then took second and third place on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 respectively.
Wii Music also topped the Wii section. This was followed by the popular Guitar Hero: World Tour and then the ever well selling Wii Fit.

After Activision made a whole lot of money off of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare last year, they want even more (can't blame them money=win); so they will have more DLC in Call of Duty: World at War. They said that "The average Call of Duty player has spent nearly five full 24-hour days of their lives online since purchasing the game", which is a lot of time, so they want to reach out to the online players with much more DLC.
And thought we'd seen the last of this back in the Bad Company scandal. Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith recently revealed that in the upcoming Call of Duty: World of War there will be something called a 'Day 1 Advantage'. Which he explained is a way to accelerate your experience points through payment. So those which have the cash will be at a higher level than you. Which I think personally is a disgusting business tactic.

We've all been wondering what games will contain Trophies, ever since they launched back a couple of months ago, and whilst only a few titles have been patched with trophies so far, how exactly does the future of Trophies and the Playstation 3 look? Well, ps3trophies.org decided to go to Leipzig to ask that question and they've got back a list of games that will include trophy support.
Activision has recently settled upon a contract with PureBalance, the creators of the anti-cheat software called PunkBuster. The software will be tied into CoD: World at War and will make sure no hacking or glitching occurs when the game is released and onward.
PunkBuster has also planted its roots in the Battlefield series, Crysis, and F.E.A.R.
