Having been released in the UK back in June (on the exact same day as Metal Gear Solid 4), and in the US a month later, CivRev came under the spotlight by many a number of players for a shoddy online service, and some even didn't like the single player mode. However, 2K listened to all the bug reports and complaints, and got working to solve these, eventually coming up with the patches 1.10, 1.20 and 1.21. A slim but good week for younger and older folks alike this time 'round. PC gamers get Devil May Cry 4, console owners get Civilization Revolution on everything but the Wii (it's already doing very well in reviews), and more youthful gamers should appreciate Wonder World Amusement Park and Carnival Games, while Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon is anticipated to be enjoyed by all.

On a related note, Devil May Cry is set to pop up on the PSP at some point in the future.

Those that have been hoping to get the game on the previous 3rd June 2007 should brace themselves - the game has been delayed till 8th July 2008 a whole four weeks... however this release date only effects those that will get the NTSC-Version (US/Canada).

In exchange for this delay, the US/Canada will be getting gifts-with-purchase as well as a competition being held in June which will make use of the demo that is being released in may/june.

2K Games and 2K Sports reveals their line up. Even though they do not surprise, it's still very satisfying to get some info on their upcoming titles. The list includes the well anticipated FPS Bioshock, next generation version of Sid Meier's Civilization (Revolution), the long awaited football game All Pro Football 2K8, and the new addition to the NHL franchise NHL 2K8. There'll also be a displaying of recently released FPS The Darkness.
