Three classic Command & Conquer games are available as freeware from the official C&C website in promotion for next month's upcoming C&C4. The free game downloads include C&C: Red Alert, C&r: Tiberian Dawn, and C&C: Tiberian Sun + Firestorm expansion.

NowGamer has compiled a pretty good list of free PC games that should be essential for any gamer, so check it out at the source if you like. Among the entries are classics like Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Grand Theft Auto 2, but also newer entries like Pandemic's Battleforge.

EA decided to be generous, and give away the original Red Alert for free. All you have it just click the download link, and it goes straight onto your computer, no troubles or anything. You can also get Red Alert 2 if you pre-order Red Alert 3 from certain stores.
