Conflict: Denied Ops

Conflict: Denied Ops

"If you're married make sure your wife isn't in the same room with you, otherwise you could be sleeping on the couch for the next couple of weeks. If you have a girlfriend it would be best if she weren't with you while checking out these trailers, otherwise you might not getting any late night "snacks" for about a month. And if you're not old enough to close your bedroom door, you probably aren't old enough to be watching these trailers. But for the mature minded youth, you better not let your..."

"Last week we delivered buyer's guides to inform our readers what to get the gamer in their life this holiday season. Today we bring you a list of ten games that should, in no circumstances, be placed under the tree for your joystick junkie. This list of games was actually harder to construct than a list of must-haves for the simple fact that there were a ton of games this year that we should avoid at all costs. Each game represented below is a mockery of why we came to love games in the first..."

"The official PC Demo for Eidos' Conflict: Denied Ops has been released and is available for download. Conflict: Denied Ops is a tactical shooter in the same vein as Army of Two and Kane & Lynch, putting the player in control of a two-man fire team with the ability to switch between them at will. Eidos has seemed to get the system working alot better in this title as opposed to Kane & Lynch, however, and a bit of that can be seen in our CES demonstration video of the game in action...

Looks like the 'Games for Windows' program is getting nine new titles for the year. This released just today from Microsoft.

The nine titles are:
· “Alone in the Dark” (Atari)
· “Bionic Commando” (Capcom)
· “Conflict: Denied Ops” (Eidos Interactive)
· “Empire: Total War” (SEGA)
· “LEGO Indiana Jones” (LucasArts)
· “Microsoft Train Simulator 2” (Microsoft Game Studios)
· “Sins of a Solar Empire” (Stardock)
· “Space Siege” (SEGA)
· “Tomb Raider: Underworld” (Eidos Interactive)

"The 'co-op shooter is in the same vein as Army of Two and Edios' (controversial) Kane & Lynch. It will be the fifth game in the 'Conflict' series, and is touted as allowing players to 'seamlessly' switch between the two characters while at the same time while destroying almost everything they can see, using Pivotal's new Puncture Technology."
