Crytek has revealed new screens comparing the old and new builds for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the recently-announced first-person shooter, Crysis.

The first screenshots have been revealed by Electronic Arts for the remastered console versions of Crysis, which will be released in October for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

"If there ever was a graphical battle to be fought between two titanous games, I don't think it would get any bigger than this. Gird tight your loins fanboys, because this is going to be one hellacious comparison."

The CryEngine 2 does truly show what it's capable of with these new screens. They just leave you gawping for sometime. It makes you think how much technology has advanced. These screens were taken from a PC mod for the upcoming game Crysis.
