A year ago now, I posted an article concerning the possibility of a de Blob sequel. Now in 2010, President and CEO of THQ, Brian Farrell, has announced that de Blob will be seeing its return in 2011. Check out the link to read more, including the mention of new stuff for Saints Row, among others, as well.
"Ronimo Games, best known as the development team behind the original version of De Blob, today announced new details surrounding its debut title for WiiWare, Swords & Soldiers. New features such as historical inaccuracy (yes we said that), uncompromising style, some random stuff, and Morefun have been added to the game."
"When we presented the NPD data to THQ for comment, a spokesperson for the company indicated that de Blob's solid American sales beginnings are only half the story. "We're pleased with de Blob's performance worldwide," the rep noted. "It's a great intellectual property and you can tell your readers to expect to see more of de Blob in the future.""

IGN members Matt Casamassina, Mark Bozon and Lucas Thomas have compiled a list of the twenty Nintendo Wii games that every Wii gamer should own.
It's well structured listing the name, publisher, develop, whether it's Wii exclusive, an overview, a profile picture and a video.
The first game on the list is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the last is Excite Truck.
Most of the list is a listing of the most popular games around, however, some are quite surprising.

Japanese games newssite Inside Games the other day uploaded some new screenshots for THQ's upcoming Wii title de Blob, which by now has already been reviewed by IGN.
The game puts you in control of the titular character de Blob, charged with the task of bringing back color to the city of Chroma from the monochrome colors mandated by the evil I.N.K.T. Corporation. By absorbing colors and splattering them all over the city, de Blob is aiming to take back the city and bring its color back. ...
Here are review scores for a load of recent Nintendo DS and Wii games.

The lowest score was for NBA Live 09 All-Play (Wii) with the poor achievement of 4.
The average for the game was around 7-8.
With THQ's de Blob hitting store shelves next week, IGN has their review up for the action platformer, which stars the titular de Blob in his quest to recolor the city of Chroma after it had been taken over by the evil I.N.K.T. Corporation.
IGN notes the game's presentation as one of its strongest points. Coupled with engrossing, tight gameplay, and colorful worlds and characters, de Blob looks and feels like a blast to play. IGN noted no major drawbacks to the game, only a few missed op...
"Having been in the public-eye for some time now, THQs de Blob approaches its European launch. A title thats seemingly uncharacteristically inventive and accessible for Hardcore Gamers in Wiis Third-Party line-up of late, de Blob has many hopes riding upon it.
The basic idea of the title, as no doubt most of you will be aware of by now, is to bring colour to the monochrome districts of Chroma City by completing various Platform based challenges as a blob. A blob known as de ..."

"Dead Space (Oct 31, 360/PS3/PC)
Dead Space feels eerily similar to Aliens, but the introductory trailer and our first hands-on demonstrated a level of suspense, mood, and intensity we haven't seen in a while. The premise: the entire crew of a deep space mining ship has gone missing, and it's up to you, the sole survivor, to rid the vessel of alien baddies. It should be noted that EA's survival horror only marginally beat out Left 4 Dead (360/PC), the fast-paced Zombie Killer by Valve with ..."
