Yahtzee delivers a powerful review of the ball to the wall piss your pants scary Dead Space. (no- seriously, it is legitimately piss your pants scary - ask tekmosis about his first encounter with the... well never mind that), but be prepared to laugh, cry, and if you do ultimately pickup the game - piss your pants.
Ian Milham, the Art Director for the third person game titled Dead Space, talks all about the way the art and gore came to life in the game, one of them noting that it's how the whole team would envision the future.
Dead Space is shaping up to be quite a game. And now with the opening cinematic now live we can see just how the hero Isaac and his crew found their way on board the dead mining facility which constitutes the games levels.
Some new Dead Space gameplay footage has been released today, showing the Plasma Cutter slicing through the sickest and creepiest creatures you will ever encounter!
Dead Space is a third-person shooter. You are a man named Isaac Clarke who works for the Concordance Extraction Corporation, and have received a call about one of the mining ships breaking down. You go to check it out, only to see that it has been taken over by aliens! Can you make it out of there alive?

Planet Xbox 360 was recently able to go EA Studios, located in Redwood Shores, California to check out Dead Space, a survival-horror game. While there, they were also able to interview Glen Schofield, the executive producer of the game. To see the interview, hit the source.
Planet Xbox 360 likes how Dead Space is coming along and is even calling it "one of the 'must own' games of 2008." Look for Dead Space on shelves October 20th!
