Hudson Entertainment has announced that its sports compilation game, Deca Sports for the Nintendo Wii, has shipped 1 million units worldwide. The publisher has previously reported in early August that the game had shipped 700,000 units worldwide, meaning that 300,000 units had been shipped to North America, Europe, and Japan in the last two months.
Deca Sports features 10 different sports in a minigame compilation for the Wii. Deca Sports originally released in Japan on March 19th.
Hudson Soft's Deca Sports has already been a runaway success, selling nearly 200,000 copies in Japan since launch and recently hitting US shores. With the game due in Europe on 5th June under the name of 'Sports Island', Cubed³ caught up with the development team to talk about the project and how it will be expanding in the future. It has now been confirmed Deca Sports will be returning to Wii and a DS edition is being explored.
Here are some Deca Sports screenshots, which is coming out for the Wii. You will be able to race, play tennis and a bunch of other sports as well. More images in the source.
