Itagaki talks about Ninja Gaiden II ... and how it's better than Devil May Cry 4.

Gothic Girl | May 23, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360  | views: 2505
"In bullish mood at a press event for Ninja Gaiden II at Soho, Itagaki has just watched journalists run through Hayate's latest adventure.

After getting our hands bloody by slicing and dicing through a horde of enemies - with Itagaki nodding his approval - we sit down with the developer and ask him about Ninja Gaiden II, Devil May Cry 4 and what comes next...

Ninja Gaiden had the remix of sorts with Sigma. Can you see the series continue without you? Is that something you'd like to see h..."

Devil May Cry 4 Shifting to the PC

Akashi | April 23, 2008 | News | PC Company Gaming Tech/Hardware  | views: 2169
"It's easy to forget that back when Devil May Cry 4 was announced, fans of the series were quick to trumpet it as a potentially system-selling classic and an exclusive feather in Sony's PS3 cap. Times change however, and as we all know Dante and Nero also made their grandstanding way over to Microsoft's Xbox 360, in due course selling more than 2 million copies and becoming a certified hit on both consoles in the process."

Multi-Platform Games: GamePro's View On The Differences Between Next-Gen Ports

Krunal | February 28, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360  | views: 4149
"These issues are slowly being addressed, though, as many publishers are starting to churn out multi-platform releases with an eye for the PlayStation 3. LucasArts recently announced an initiative to make the PS3 their leading platform for development, joining a growing wave of developers seeking to improve multi-platform games heading to Sony's console. With any luck, this movement will result in better performance for all gamers, Xbox 360 and PS3 alike. For now though, just enjoy fragging te..."

Kotaku's top five gaming love stories!

Gothic Girl | February 14, 2008 | News | Playstation 2 Playstation 3  | views: 4094
"4. Dante and Trish - Devil May Cry Series (PS2)
If the best girl a man can find is one that reminds him of his mother, then Dante has certainly hit the jackpot. Created by the demon lord Mundus during the first game to resemble the devil hunter's mother Eva, Trish wound up developing feelings for Dante, helping him to defeat Mundus and ending up as his partner. While the fact that her feelings stem from being made in his mother's image is kind of creepy if you stop and think about it, there'..."

DMC4 - Playstation Home Link Possibly Found?

Krunal | February 04, 2008 | News | Playstation 3  | views: 2622
Could a link between Playstation Home and Devil May Cry have been found? Well ps3fanboy certainly think so. Whilst playing the game for a while, they've managed to unlock various Achievements on the Playstation 3 version of the game, and after unlocking these achievements the messages that appear aren't one that's internally (in the game) but one that's similar to the "Network Connection Screen".

Could this eventually be turned into "Trophies" for PS Home when it's released? Or could it s...

Devil May Cry 4 - Sales Numbers And Looks Like PS3 Beats XBOX360, 5 to 1

Krunal | February 04, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360  | views: 2894
Many have wandered what Devil May Cry 4 will be like on the XBOX360, and how well it will sell. Well regardless of how good it is, it certainly isn't doing well as it's PS3 counterpart - atleast in Japan anyway. Whilst the PS3 version has sold 140,000 copies in Japan, the XBOX360 version only managed sell a megre 30,000 copies, meaning a 5:1 sell rate for the PS3:XBOX360.

How closely these ratios will match to their US/UK numbers is yet to be seen, but with more XBOX360's than PS3's things...

"Obviously you're coming up on completion of the title. If you can talk about how the overall development process has been going for this, because it's the first next-generation Devil May Cry game.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi: First of all, we started the development in 2005. At that stage, they were still developing the PS3 technology, and we didn't have a lot of the PS3 resources. However, we had the MT Framework -- that's a Capcom internal next-generation engine -- so it probably was an easier st..."
