Capcom’s Christian Svensson comments about the possible release of Devil May Cry HD Collection on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live’s Games on Demand

Devil May Cry HD Collection has been dated for an April 2012 release in both North America and Europe. It will retail for the bargain price of $39.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Capcom’s Christian Svensson explains why his company decided to released the remastered compilation, Devil May Cry HD Collection, for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

On the official Capcom Blog, Capcom has announced officially that they will be releasing a Devil May Cry HD Collection for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles.

With God Of War 1 and 2 are being re-released on Blu-Ray, Kotaku asked other gaming companies whether they will consider re-releasing their big-name series for PS3.

Konami have no announcements at the moment, though they "are constantly exploring unique ways to expose players to some of our legacy titles such as Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill".

Capcom have beeing seeing "some interested for Devil May Cry to get this treatment" and would like fans to tell them which games they'd like ...

"We may not always have loved every one of his games or his hairstyles, but we wanted to take a moment to tip our hat to Dante, whose Devil May Cry series has reached the milestone of 10 million units shipped."

With the help of the PS3 and 360 version of Devil May Cry 4, it has reached 2 million copies sold worldwide. This also brings the Devil May Cry franchise at a 9 million units sold globally. And this is one of the best selling Franchises Capcom has ever made.
