Several new screenshots have been released by NIS America for their upcoming PS Vita exclusive turn-based strategy role-playing game, Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention.
Earlier today, halfway across the globe at the 2011 Akihabara Games Festival, Nippon Ichi Software Inc. announced that they will be making another new title other than Disgaea 3 Portable and Disgaea 4.
They also said that longtime character designer Takehito Harada will be leading the charge on the project, and that it's release is scheduled for sometime in 2012.
The Nippon Ichi series everyone loves is returning to Vita with Disgaea 4. Also, the publisher mentioned some interesting titles that will be coming out in the future. Some will come for Vita, others are unsure.

It seems to be a pet peeve of many gamers with the European copy of Disgaea 3: Absense of Justice, and seeing how the Downloadable Content still hasn't been released in the EU unlike our North American counter-parts it's one that's definitely justifiable.
However, with the recent announcement that DLC will be coming to the Playstation Store this month, more news has surfaced, this time about the trophies patch.
Many have worried that it will never come or if it does it'll be next year ...

Scans for the Disgaea 3 cover feature of Japanese magazine Dengenki PlayStation have surfaced thanks to nenena of LiveJournal, and they provide a tasty glimpse of the latest batch of Netherworld residents looking to start something.
