"As you can guess by the title, Divinity II is a sequel. The original was an isometric view RPG using a dated 2D engine to tell its story of magic and dungeons. And while the original wasn’t the kind of looker you’d take home to mom, Divinity II is running on the same engine used for Fallout 3 and Oblivion and brings the gameplay into a very suitable third-person 3D point of view. However, unlike Fallout 3 and Oblivion, the focus of the gameplay is more action RPG with an emphasis on the action."
"Software Entertainment USA is pleased to announce that Divinity II – Ego Draconis is now available in North America on the Xbox 360 Windows PC! The game is the sequel to the critically acclaimed fantasy RPG Divine Divinity and will transport players back to the wide-open, war-torn world of Rivellon where they will battle the forces of evil not just as a human Dragon Slayer, but also as a powerful dragon!"
A look at Divinity II: Ego Draconis, a first person "tactical" RPG that grants a necromancer the power to take the form of a dragon. By land and by air, the main character takes on a compelling, though somewhat short-lived, story.
Until January 5th (the date of release) Amazon.com is offering $10 credit for future video game purchases with pre-order of Divinity II: Ego Draconis. If you were planning to purchase this game this is your last chance to save $10 on it.
